The Music of Keith Green

Yesterday I mentioned the late singer/song-writer, Keith Green. When I was a teenager one of the greatest things that God used to keep my heart on the Lord was the music of singer/song-writer Keith Green. I loved his music and the way he conducted his ministry. I was in High School when Keith Green was killed in an airplane crash in Texas where he lived. His music is one of the few that have transcended time in still impacting my life today. I will often pull out my CD collections of all of his songs and play them as I worship and reflect on the Lord. But no song of his touches me like this one. If you know it, why don’t you sing it with me right now at your computer.

There is a Redeemer

Jesus God's own Son

Precious Lamb of God

Messiah

Holy One

Thank You Oh my Father

For giving us Your Son

And leaving Your Spirit

'Til the work on earth is done

Jesus, my Redeemer

Name above all names

Precious Lamb of God

Messiah

Hope for sinners slain

Thank You Oh my Father

For giving us Your Son

And leaving Your Spirit

'Til the work on earth is done

When I stand in glory

I will see His face

There I'll serve my King forever

In that holy place

Thank You Oh my Father

For giving us Your Son

And leaving Your Spirit

'Til the work on earth is done

Keith Green is SO inspirational! He's definitely one of my all-time favorites!! ...also if you have time, do a search for my buddy Michael Maher... He's from north Detroit (Rochester). I met him at Big Ticket and his worship leading is SO anointed and what's more, he even looks like Keith Green! :-)
