THE BEST IS YET TO COME

Do any of the words below describe this past year of 2010 for you?

Horrible

Sad

Surprising

Disastrous

Woeful

Hurtful

Maybe this was a tough year for you.

Maybe you lost your job.

Maybe you lost a loved one.

Maybe you lost your marriage.

Maybe you lost your retirement.

No matter what your year was like in 2010, can I remind you one simple fact? If you are a believer in Jesus Christ I can assure you of this...

THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

Remember this verse?

"But the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. And we which are alive and remain will be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord!"

THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

Happy New Year!

We have seen a year of great joy and great sorrow. But we know that we can trust that God has the best in store for us. So we send encouragement to you and your family as we see how God directs you. Thanks for all the encouragement you gave our family in the past and now in this blog. May God continue to pour out His blessings on your family.

Thanks, Diane! We so appreciate your very genuine words of grace and encouragement. There is no question that 2010 was a year of hurt and suffering for us. Yet, because of this it was also a year of some of the greatest spiritual, family and marital growth we have ever experienced. That is why we can "in all things give thanks." So as much as we were glad to see 2010 come to an end, we also found ourselves thanking God for its trials and adversities. Now we look forward to 2011 with great hope and confidence that the best is yet to come! Blessings to you and your family this year!
