Can't Beat This Ministry Dream Team!

Here at the Gaylord E-Free Church in Gaylord, Michigan, we have quite the "Dream Team" on our Ministry Staff as seen above in our new bulletin shells! In all seriousness, I wish everyone in local church ministry had such a great staff to work with day in and day out for the cause of Christ. Jim, Joe, Newell, Jack, Joshua and Matt...these guys are simply the best. I get to spend a lot of time with these guys on a regular basis in different meetings. I also schedule one hour each week with each of these men one-on-one. If you are part of the Gaylord E-Free family, I hope you realize how fortunate we are as a church to have such a dedicated ministry staff.

So let me take this time to encourage each of you who attend Gaylord E-Free to pray for our ministry staff on a regular basis. And if you do not attend Gaylord E-Free, let me encourage you to pray regularly for the pastors and ministry staff at the church where you do attend. They deserve your prayer support, and even more importantly, they need it. On one hand, there is nothing more fulfilling and exciting than serving the Lord through leading in the local church. But on the other hand, there are few occupations more difficult. Ministry includes highs and lows. It includes celebrations and frustrations. It includes cheerleaders and critics.

Full-time ministry in the local church isn't easy. But for those who are called to full-time ministry like Jim, Joe, Newell, Jack, Joshua and Matt, it's worth it. That's why they deserve and need your prayers. They also need your encouragement. An encouraging email; a kind note; a word of appreciation in the lobby on Sunday morning...these things can go along ways in bringing great refreshment to our ministry staff.

Jim, Joe, Newell, Jack, Joshua and Matt...thanks for all you do! I appreciate you! I really do!
