Grace Church Provides A Roof Over These Orphans' Heads

Below is an email our Mission Team leader here at Grace Church, Mike McCracken, received from missionary, Ginger Hock, updating us on the progress of the new school building being built by our Hand-in-Hand partnership at Cattin in the Central African Republic. The bricks you see are handmade and were being made when our team was there in February (see pic). Along with full funding this Christian School for orphans in Africa, Grace Church has also been able to use our Birthday Giftt for Jesus monies to purchase the materials to be used for the wood, tin, and nails needed for the roof. Here is the e-mail Mike received:

"Hi Mike and friends at Lititz, Here's a photo of the new school building at Cattin. I visited there yesterday. It was such a great visit, as usual. I am so impressed with the Cattin Church and how willing the deacons and ladies are to help in any way. The men in the photo doing the work are deacons who have come to volunteer with the project. Pastor Laida bought all the tin (it was in another building for now), the wood and nails and such and they're hoping to have the roof on before school starts on October 5th. Thanks again for all you have done for these kids and the church. I'll send photos later when it is complete."

How awesome is that? Thank you Grace Church for being willing to sacrifice to MEET orphans in the Central African Republic right where they are at, and help MOVE them to where God wants them to be. We will once again be opening our Birthday Gift for Jesus project during the month of December so that we can continue to impact these precious orphans.
