Welcome Back Pastor Warren
This Sunday here at Gaylord E-Free we will conclude our “Lean On Me” message series on the life of Barnabas in which we are learning how to become more effective encouragers. We have already seen the GOODNESS of an Encourager; the GRACE of an Encourager; the GOAL of an Encourager; and the GLORY of an Encourager. This Sunday we will end the series by seeing the GIVING of an Encourager; and the GUTS of an Encourager.
This Sunday is literally jammed pack. Along with the worship and message elements, the service will also include the following:
• We will be having a special “75th Anniversary Moment” on Sunday. Maybe you don;t realize it but this year is our 75th anniversary as a church. As a result this Sunday I have invited back to E-Free Pastor Chuck Warren who was the Sr Pastor of our church prior to Pastor Jim’s ministry with us. I will be bringing Pastor Warren and Pastor Jim (and their wives) up on stage as part of our service to recognize them and to honor our legacy as a church. .
• We will be celebrating communion on Sunday. I will be asking Pastor Warren to lead us in the prayer for the bread and Pastor Jim to lead us in the prayer for the cup.
• We will also be giving out “LEAN ON ME TAG" cards this Sunday. Through these cards we will be encouraging everyone to prayerfully look for a way in the coming week in which they can encourage someone through a random act of kindness, leaving this card behind or giving it to the person involved, encouraging them to then encourage someone else.
• After the message, there will be a special song which will include an interpretive dance that will lead into Pastor Newell ending our service by honoring our graduates and praying. Joshua will be talking to Newell about having the graduates seated down front so they are all together for this time.
Don't miss this Sunday at Gaylord E-Free!
